My consistent argument is that God has a specific time line for humanity. Everything exists for a specific time, i.e., was the former pope prompted to retire in 2013? Can you believe the recent news?

If you read the Torah, you'll see how HaShem (God) permits certain activities, and goads certain activates. It doesn't matter, HaShem directs humanity toward perfect timing in blessings, and curses. We exist to glorify HaShem, in all of our fear or loathing, regardless of motivation.
My opinion: Pope Benedict had to resign last year. HaShem's plans must come to fruition.
