Geomagnetic Storms Equals Massive Animal Deaths Worldwide?

My constant drum-beat is that geomagnetic storms always produce massive animal deaths. Solar winds seem to produce geomagnetic storms, which negatively affects the increased magnetite in many animals. Thus, if we are seeing increased geomagnetic activity, we should see increased animal die-offs. What are we seeing in the heavens?
